Dear Prospective Account Holder,
MAKE MUNI MUNDAY are the twelve prime Mondays between the annual closure of CREE BANK and the end of the year.
The Cree Bank closes its doors on the 11th of May each year.
Within The Twelve Prime Mondays, Mint of CREE BANK, will physically construct hard currency.
Mint is a zero-hour contact worker.
Mint has no other name.
Mint has no history.
Mint has no mercy.
The current hard currency is made in readiness to be washed in the flowing currents of the River Cree.
This washing of currency takes place when the Sparling return to the River Cree in the late Winter and early Spring*.
Cree Bank’s annual working hours are between 10am and 3pm for Forty days
The Forty days sit between the 1st of April and the 11th of May.
Note: there is a difference between ‘denomination’ and ‘currency’
And...
The currency of CREE BANK is divided up using the following denominations.
25 STYCH make one ROW
40 ROW make one SQUARE
40 SQUARE make one WORD
12 WORD make one TRIBUTE
12 TRIBUTE make one WALL
12 WALL make one FORTUNE
*WALL and FORTUNE refuse to be washed even in the River Cree.
The current exchange rate between Sterling and STYCH is...
4 pence = 1 STYCH
That said, exchange rates can wax and wane like the wandering moon.
Note:
In honour of the fish that swim the waters of the River Cree and all Her Tributaries, the plural of each denomination within the currency of CREE BANK, is no different to the singular.
As in, one trout and ten trout.
As in, not one trout and ten trouts.
As in, one Quid or ten Quid, not Quids.
Except when it is ‘quids in’.
Or even when it comes to Eels. but that is another story from Sargasso Sea.
And...
Strewn across The Twelve Prime Mondays...
Mint will mint 40 SQUARE.
And...
Images of many a STYCH and plenty a ROW and every 40 SQUARE, may each be displayed, somewhere close to these words, on each of The Twelve Prime Mondays.
And...
A Photograph of a WORD nailed to a tree, on either side of The Great Lane, in the Vale of Aylesbury, will be added and presented here, on each of The Twelve Prime Mondays.
And...
A Photograph of a TRIBUTE, lounging on a large and cumbersome easel, on a light industrial estate, under the long shadow of Sizewell B, will be added and presented here, on each of The Twelve Prime Mondays.
And...
A Photograph or an image of WALL will be added and presented here on each of The Twelve Prime Mondays.
But...
A FORTUNE refuses to be presented as a Photograph or even an image.
The 12 WALL come in many shapes and sizes. All WALL live in the open vaults of the Penkiln Burn Branch of CREE BANK. The first and last of these WALL, is the wall under Spaghetti Junction, that faces the wall, that a local artist and The Part Time Painter, have been known to do their work, circa 2014 to 2026.
And...
Note:
All images of STYCH, ROW and SQUARE have been constructed by Hand Held Device
And...
All Photograph of WORD and TRIBUTE have been crafted by a Tracey Moberly using Camera.
Photograph or images of WALL have been crafted or constructed by either Tracey Moberly or Hand Held Device.
And...
