
Dear People,
We have feelings.
I have never been too sure what feelings were for.
My instinct is always to repress feelings.
Feelings just seem to get in the way.
But...
Today I had feelings that we were in the season.
And...
I could not repress these feelings.
So...
I made my way to the Great Lane, in Bierton in the Vale of Aylesbury.
My feelings were right.
The Damsons were in season.
I picked the Damsons until my bowl overflowed.
Then I went back to where I sleep, and I eat, and I live.
And I took a photograph of the almost overflowing bowl of Damsons.
Then I contacted Alimentation to tell them that the Damsons were in Season.
Thus...
It would soon be time to select two of the Penkiln Burn Books and make them available for purchase.
In the coming days, Alimentation will release a Newsletter announcing which of the two Penkiln Burn Books are currently in season, thus available for purchase.
I understand that the season will last for fourteen days.
Later this afternoon I will follow the recipe I wrote some years ago and make this season’s supply of Damson Jam.
