The Tied Hands are many things.
One of those ‘many things’ is a touring band of players.
The Tied Hands are right now, as in the day these words are being written, halfway through their twelve-step tour of the World Wide Web.
The name of The Tied Hands tour of the World Wide Web is EMOTIONS.
It is not known why the name EMOTIONS has been given to this tour of the World Wide Web. You might be able to provide an answer.
Each of the twelve steps lasts no more and no less than Forty Days & Forty Nights.
Each of the twelve steps is hosted by a different website.
On each of the twelve steps of EMOTIONS, the lineup of The Tied Hands transitions. As in no one living person is ever in The Tied Hands, for more than Forty Days & Forty Nights.
But...
Over their tenure of being in The Tied Hands, each of the human members are invited and encouraged, or maybe even expected to...
Imagine, and then possibly record a recording, that has in some way been, motivated by The Shangri-Las record Past, Present & Future. A record that was first released in 1966.
Also...
Each embodiment of The Tied Hands are also invited and encouraged, or maybe even expected to...
Create a poster portraying a pair of their hands tied by ropes or chains or ribbons or even a mere will o’ the wisp. And post their poster in a location of their choosing.
And...
Host both the recording and the evidence of the flyposting on a website of their own choosing.
And...
As with Coriolanus Snow...
The Tied Hands have a back story. And this back story can also be hosted on each of the passing websites.
Contained within the back story are the reasons why the final step of the EMOTIONS tour of the World Wide Web will be marked on the 14th of November of 2025, on a website based under the Delia Derbyshire building in the English city of Coventry.
That marking may include the pressing of one thousand copies of a long-playing record containing all of the tracks recorded over The Tied Hands tour of the World Wide Web. This long-playing record will adopt the title of the tour, as in it will be EMOTIONS by The Tied Hands.
Also...
Versions of each of the posters will be printed and flyposted across the city of Coventry to celebrate the completion of The Tied Hands tour of the World Wide Web.

Josie Duncan has written and recorded a song for this step on The Tied Hands tour of the World Wide Web. The song takes as its three verse frame work the notion of their being a past, a present and a future. The name of Josie Duncan’s song is Seinnidh Sinn.
